SUPPORT BROOKLYN'S CHILDREN

Community Carnival Final revised.jpg
Baking Contest Final Version UPDATED.jp

Brooklyn Youth Enrichment’s Community Christmas Carnival is a much-cherished tradition. The fun starts with a face-painting artist who decorates children’s faces in their favorite animal or cartoon character, or maybe we make them a clown.  On Carnival day, the children enter a magical winter wonderland. Presents greet deserving children and their families piled high, holiday music, fun an active games, delicious treats, expertly decorated Christmas trees, and of course, Santa Claus and Mrs. Clause along with a host of Disney characters.  Happy guests, children, and families eagerly strike a holiday pose with Santa. For many, this will be their first photo with him – and bound to be a memory they will never forget. We also present each child with gifts. We try to select a toy or clothing with his or her wish in mind. Gifts include books, dolls, action figures, art sets, clothes, and much more. Businesses and members of our community have been coming together for 20 years with our organization to bring Christmas cheer to our neighbors in need, and we hope you to will be part of this tradition to serve. We would especially like to thank Cabot’s Cheese, Raymour & Flanigan, Office of the Brooklyn Borough President, New York City Government, Union United Methodist Church of Brooklyn for the donations of food, toys, games, live entertainment, costumes, and funding which helped make our annual Christmas Carnival a success. Your contributions made it possible for us to bring a little joy to the lives of more than 300 children in need who live in the area neighborhoods. More than 1,000 youth and adults attend the carnival each year.

First Annual Holiday Baking Contest. Are your baked goods tasty enough for a blue ribbon? Preheat your oven, fire up your competitive spirit, and enter our baking contest we will sponsor this year.A baking competition can be a great occasion to get together with people in the community to share delicious treats, unhurried chatter, and a good old cup coffee. Spending social time with neighbors and people from all over Brooklyn New York is great for motivation and morale, and there must be very few children and adults who would not get excited by sampling delicious treats.  Also, this will be a popular way to raise money for Brooklyn Youth Enrichment.
